Enjoy a dynamic and unique setting at the Kunsthal Cafe. Drop by for a good cup of coffee, a quick bite or a leisurely lunch, or drinks and snacks. When the weather is nice, you can relax on our spacious terrace in the Museumpark. You are also very welcome at the Kunsthal Cafe without an admission ticket.

At the Kunsthal Cafe, flavour and simplicity take centre stage. Rotterdam-based chef and food curator Perry de Man, known from 24Kitchen among others, worked with the Kunsthal Cafe team to create a contemporary menu featuring locally sourced products.

During Kunsthal opening hours, you can stop by for coffee, sweet treats, lunch dishes and snacks. You’re also welcome to join us for drinks, with a selection of wines by the glass and a small menu of cocktails and virgin cocktails.

Interior

Van Oosterom Studio designed the interior with careful consideration for the original architecture by Rem Koolhaas / OMA. Dark green mohair sofas, large marble tables featuring colourful handmade drawings, and stainless-steel details give the cafe its distinctive character. The polished steel wall behind the bar reflects Günther Förg’s neon artwork and the greenery of the Museumpark.
