Event spaces

Auditorium

The Auditorium is a tiered auditorium with 280 colourful seats. For smaller groups, the capacity can be reduced to approximately 200 seats. The space is ideal for presentations, lectures, film screenings, and music and dance performances.

The Auditorium can be fully darkened using the curtain, designed by Petra Blaisse of Inside Outside. When the curtain is open, guests have a view of Westzeedijk and the Euromast.

The Auditorium comes equipped with the following standard technical facilities: 10,000 ANSI-lumen projector, 350 × 850 cm projection screen, laptop, 1 handheld microphone, 1 headset, lectern, confidence monitor and clicker.

KunsthalLAB

KunsthalLAB is a flexible educational space next to the Auditorium. The space is suitable for meetings and workshops.

Kunsthal Café

The Kunsthal Café is a versatile and atmospheric space for a wide range of events. The interior, designed by Van Oosterom Studio, complements Rem Koolhaas's architecture and gives the café a unique and contemporary character. Capacity depends on the chosen layout.

The furniture can be arranged flexibly, making the space suitable for both seated and standing dinners, parties and drinks receptions. In good weather, the terrace can also be incorporated into the event.

Rooftop terrace

For a summer drinks reception or other festive gathering of up to 50 people, the rooftop terrace offers a unique outdoor setting. Enjoy views across Rotterdam and Museumpark.

Catering

Catering at the Kunsthal Café is provided by Vermaat. External catering is not permitted. We are happy to advise you on the options and tailor the catering to your event.
