Rosina’s work can be described as both abstract and figurative, sprinkled with a dash of mysticism. He will be realizing The Revisitation with the help of sampling, a technique that entails reusing existing visual material. Rosina goes in search of exceptional stories, mysteries, and important individuals and moments in history. He collects a great variety of images which he then digitally manipulates and assembles to create collages. Together they provide the foundation for his paintings. For The Revisitation, Rosina will be mainly using collages that served as the starting point for previous works. He rearranges, manipulates, or combines them to create new collages, with images that either reinforce each other or result in an alienating experience. Rosina thus explores the power of the image, while also using The Revisitation to reflect on his earlier work.

Kunsthal Light
Kunsthal Light is the Kunsthal’s talent development programme. Since 2011, this exhibition programme has specifically focused on young artists who are able to make a ‘broad gesture’ in an original and artistic way. To this end, three times a year the Kunsthal places HALL 6 (the over 25-meter-long display window along the ramp) at the disposal of an artist who is then given free rein to make a site-specific work.
