Parking with limited mobility

Visitors with limited mobility can park in the disabled parking spaces, located on the service road of the Westzeedijk, to the right on the pavement after passing under the Kunsthal. A disabled parking permit is required. Click here for the exact location.

Wheelchair use

All exhibition spaces at the Kunsthal, except for the sloped ramp in HAL 6 (the showcase), are accessible by wheelchair. Additionally, all corridors are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Our staff are available to assist with access to HAL 1 and wherever else needed.

Borrowing a wheelchair

Wheelchairs are available to borrow at the Kunsthal. It is necessary to reserve in advance, which can be done via 010 – 44 00 300 or by emailing receptie@kunsthal.nl, available during office hours.

Folding stools

The Kunsthal provides lightweight, easy-to-carry folding stools. This allows you to rest at any time while still admiring an artwork. These stools can be found at the beginning and end of HAL 1 and HAL 2.

Assistance dogs

The Kunsthal is accessible to visitors with a recognised assistance dog.

Companions

Visitors who are unable to visit the Kunsthal independently may bring a companion free of charge. Please book your tickets online in advance and select a free ticket for your companion at www.kunsthal.nl/tickets.

Cashless

Please note! It is not possible to pay with cash at Kunsthal Rotterdam. The Kunsthal opts for cashless payment methods for sustainability and safety reasons.
