Discover the architecture of the Kunsthal

The month of June is Rotterdam Architecture Month, the biggest architecture festival about the future of the city. A great opportunity to discover the Kunsthal building and other architectural highlights in the city, in addition to the exhibitions! Head to the roof on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4 during Dakendagen010. Visit the floating festival heart in the Maashaven. And sign up for the Art & Architecture Tour on Sunday, June 18, in collaboration with our partner nhow. You start the tour at the Kunsthal and finish with a 'cocktail with a view' at the nhow.
ROTTERDAM ROOFTOP DAYS
On Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June you can visit the roof of the Kunsthal during the Dakendagen (Rooftop Days). During the Hoboken Highlights tour you will discover the roof of ROOF-A, the Kunsthal and the GEB Tower. You will stroll through the Land of Hoboken, the former estate of the shipowner family of the same name that now comprises the museum district, encountering art, architecture and amazing views along the way. On Sunday 18 June, national Architecture Day, Kunsthal Rotterdam and nhow Rotterdam are joining forces to organise the Art & Architecture Tour.
Haus-Rucker-Co: Everything is architecture!
Central to the work of Haus-Rucker-Co, an exuberant and rebellious Vienna-based collective of architects and artists, are imagination, experimentation and breaking with conventions. The exhibition Mind Expanders features a selection of works made between 1967 and 1972, a period during which the group developed its most distinctive and innovative architectural projects. The highlight of the exhibition will be the interactive, legendary installation Giant Billiard, which will be shown in the Netherlands for the very first time. FLOATING FESTIVAL HEART
Visit the floating festival heart in the Maashaven during the entire month of June! This year the festival heart is located in the Maashaven. Walk the route across the water through three enormous barges. Along the way you'll learn all kinds of things about the role of water in the future of the city.
