As always, there will be loads of activities at the Kunsthal during the May holiday! Make yourself heard and draw along during See you later, Illustrator, take part in the workshop Moon & Friends by children’s book illustrator and maker of picture books Mark Janssen, and discover the exhibition Yes to All with a Look&Do tour. Or get in touch with your inner artist at the KunsthalLAB, where you can get creative yourself every day of the week. And with no less than seven exhibitions you are sure to find loads of inspiration. On Monday 29 April we will be open for an extra day.

WORKSHOP MOON & FRIENDS
Tuesday 30 April, 11:00 - 16:00 hrs
The children’s book illustrator and picture book maker Mark Janssen will be teaching you how to paint an extraterrestrial being or your own imaginary animal with paint! You can drop by at the Moon & Friends workshop in our Auditorium all day long, without having to make a reservation. The workshop is suitable for children from the age of 6.

Wednesday 1 May, 14.30 - 15.30 hrs
Attention, creative kids! On Wednesday 1 May, you can create a visual story in the Auditorium of the Kunsthal, together with a poet and illustrator. Poet Wessel begins with a story and illustrator Yara immediately starts drawing it. And while the poet tells and the illustrator draws, a story emerges in the meantime. But which story? That is up to you! Let your imagination run wild and call and draw along! More information and registration

During the May holiday, families and children can get to work themselves in the KunsthalLAB! Near the Auditorium you will find the LAB, where you can discover the artist in yourself. This period, the LAB is dedicated to the exhibition Mark Janssen. Home on earth.

During your visit, grab a Look&Do tour and be inspired by the exhibition Sylvie Fleury. Yes to All. The booklet contains various questions and assignments that will make you look at the artworks differently and thus also get to know the artist better. For ages 6 to 12, available in Dutch and English.
