During Kunsthal LIVE ON SUNDAY you will enjoy live music, DJs, food and art & design four Sundays in a row. On Sunday 17 July, together with creative impact platform Ellae, we'll be putting women in the spotlight! The mindblowing tunes of versatile DJ Mixturess, the soulful sounds of singer songwriter Ntjam Rosie and the enchanting vocals of Bente will take over the Museumpark this Sunday afternoon.
The program
This Sunday gets off to a cheerful start with the tastiest records of DJ Mixturess. Njtam Rosie will then take the stage and surprise you with pop, jazz, soul and an infectious smile. Later in the day you can listen to the enchanting sounds of singer and actress Bente. You can have one nail designed by nail artist Lola, get cracking with All you can Art and above all you can join free boarding tours through the exhibition Here We Are! Women in Design. Host of the day is Emma Waslander.
Ntjam Rosie
Cameroonian-Dutch jazz singer Njtam Rosie has been singing the stars from the sky for many years. Born in Cameroon and moving from Maastricht to Rotterdam, she managed to finish the conservatory with a 9.5. She has previously performed at North Sea Jazz and sang with De Wereld Draait Door, but this Sunday she will color the Museumpark with a mix of pop, jazz and soul with occasional African influences.
BENTE
The Dutch singer and actress Bente has an enchanting voice and knows how to touch you with her profound lyrics. With her own written songs she also wants to bring social themes into the spotlight. For example, together with singer Maan she released a song that addresses the subject of street harassment. In addition to festivals such as Paaspop, Pinkpop and her own tour, she will be performing in the Museumpark on Sunday, July 17.
DJ MIXTURESS
During Museumnacht010 DJ Mixturess already managed to get the crowd going in the Kunsthal, but also this Sunday she'll be playing the finest tunes in the Museumpark. This cool DJ, always dressed in the hippest outfits, ensures a cozy atmosphere. Her sets have already been heard at ADE Beats, North Sea Round Town and Solar Festival. From Hiphop and R&B of the past to the hottest new tracks of today, DJ Mixturess provides feminine finesse.
Host of the day Emma Waslander
Say creativity and enthusiasm, and you say Emma Waslander. This jack-of-all-trades is a creative producer and consultant and knows how to reach everyone. She is especially good at connecting audiences to cultural institutions, which for LIVE ON SUNDAY is a match made in heaven.
