Thanks to successful collaborations, in the course of 25 years the Kunsthal has developed to become one of the leading cultural institutions in the Netherlands – a dynamic and colourful magic box always presenting a surprising programme of its own. In appreciation of our collaborations, we are presenting a festive programme from 1 to 4 November. On Saturday 4 November we celebrate Friendship with EVERYONE who loves the Kunsthal. Come to the Kunsthal then, enjoy free admission, and discover all the advantages of being a Friend of the Kunsthal!
Wednesday 1 November: exclusive celebration
The climax of the festive full evening programme in the Kunsthal is an exclusive concert ‘Mens’ by Wende. Become a Bronze, Silver or Gold Friend of the Kunsthal now and receive an invitation for you and your partner to join us in celebrating this special evening.
Thursday 2 November: Rem Koolhaas Masterclass
On 2 November the spotlight is on the iconic architecture of the Kunsthal. The architect Rem Koolhaas gives an exclusive Masterclass for students and Friends of the Kunsthal. There is also a special architectural guided tour by UrbanGuides. More information on the Masterclass is found here.
Friday 3 November: MASH-UP! WITH IFFR
On Friday evening the Kunsthal joins with the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in organising an XL edition of MASH-UP! A smashing party with a film première, the opportunity to visit the exhibitions ‘Paul Delvaux. Dream Master’ and ‘Cat Love. Nine lives in the arts’ by night, as well as live gigs and DJs. Saturday 4 November: Kunsthal celebrates Friendship!
On Saturday everyone is invited to experience what being a Friend of the Kunsthal means. All visitors will receive a warm welcome with FREE admission and a discount in the shop. Bring your best friends, meet new friends, and raise your glass with the Kunsthal team. Take part in special guided tours, enjoy performances, be surprised, and contribute to the joint ‘Confetti work of art’!

Join your friends in taking part in this exciting and lively quiz hosted by John Buijsman. There are terrific prizes to be won: the first prize is to be a Friend of the Kunsthal and a Friends Portrait made specially for you and your friends by Marie Cécile Thijs!
FESTIVE CONFETTI WORK OF ART
Take part in the big confetti work of art in Gallery 6. The showcase alongside the ramp has been entirely reserved for the collages of our visitors. Get stuck in, and have fun pasting away. Let's stick together!
