2 March, 2019

The choreographer Marta Reig Torres is developing a performance in the display window of the Kunsthal, specially for Museumnacht010. The site-specific work ‘Doppelganger’ by the artist Willem Wesselink is currently on show there.

Willem Wesselink drew the inspiration for his installation from the architecture that Rem Koolhaas designed for the Kunsthal. Now it is the turn of Marta Reig Torres to react to it with her performance ‘Doppelganger in Liminal Space’. Her choreography intertwines the physical and sensorial space with the imaginary.  The public is invited to enter the space and to explore it from new dimensions. What is visible and what remains hidden? What is the beginning and what is the end?
