ACTION <-> REACTION LAB

Get down to work in the LAB and make your own Action <-> Reaction mobile inspired by the work of Alexander Calder!

LOOK & DO TOUR

Children between the ages of 5 and 10 years can explore the exhibition ‘Action <-> Reaction, 10 years of kinetic art’ for themselves with the Look & Do tour. For the age group 10–18 years there is the Viewer Guide. Both tours include various assignments and questions, encouraging children and adolescents to look at the works on display in a new light.

SEE YOU LATER, ILLUSTRATOR!

Friday 28 December 2018, 15.30 - 16.30 hrs.
Every work of art tells a story. But which story? From now on you can decide that yourself in the Kunsthal. As long as you’re between 6 and 12 years old. In the afternoon of Friday 28 December an illustrator and a poet will work on a story, but it’s not yet clear how it will end. Your help is needed: Your help is needed: let your fantasy run riot – shout out and draw together!

Mad Scientist LAB

Thursday 3 January, non-stop
Make your own kinetic art in the Mad Science Lab. Make a catapult and transform potential energy into kinetic energy. Experience the refraction of light with special spectacles, make light vibrations visible with your voice, deceive your own eyes with stroboscope disks and suspend ping-pong balls in the air. Fun for young and old.
