On Saturday, April 23, Kunsthal curator Shehera Grot will be talking to artist Marlou Fernanda about LIKE ME NOW,EGO DEATH and the motivation behind her work.
For the 26th edition of Kunsthal Light, Marlou Fernanda tells her personal story in expressive, figurative paintings and shows the transformation she is going through as an artist in the site-specific work LIKE ME NOW, EGO DEATH. In a series of paintings, Fernanda shows how she says goodbye to the alter ego that plays a leading role in her earlier work, and asks the audience to see her in a different light.
The Artist Talk is free on presentation of a valid Kunsthal admission ticket.
