On Sunday 30 October, art critic, curator and author Hans den Hartog Jager will talk to artist Isa van Lier about her work FLOW during an Artist Talk
For the 27th edition of Kunsthal Light, artist Isa van Lier (1996) creates the site-specific work 'FLOW'. She transforms HALL 6 into a landscape with colourful pebbles and ceramic sculptures, inspired by the ancient wisdom that lies hidden in Japanese Zen gardens. Van Lier combines the silence and timelessness of the stones with the colours of a sweet shop that represent a world of abundance, speed and technology. With FLOW, Van Lier is inviting the audience to experience the peace and serenity of a Zen garden, while at the same time creating an awareness of the turbulent world in which we live.
The Artist Talk is free of charge upon presentation of a valid Kunsthal admission ticket
