After a successful and sunny edition in the summer of 2018, the Kunsthal is organising Kunsthal LIVE ON SUNDAY again this year. This open air summer festival will be held in the Museumpark from Sunday 7 July to Sunday 11 August 2019 from 13:00 to 17:00 hrs. There is no admission charge!
Why go on holiday? Spend six Sundays this summer enjoying live music and DJs, food & drinks, and fashion & art in KUNSTHAL LIVE ON SUNDAY. There will be a great launch of the festival on Sunday 7 July with the Rotterdam rapper Winne. We also have lined up for you Jeangu Macrooy (Sunday 14 July), Magda Mendes (Sunday 21 July) and Koffie (Sunday 28 July). The festival will close with a bang on Sunday 11 August with the international Latin band Seis en Salsa, curated and hosted by Maite Hontelé.
Special Tours
Come and look, listen, party and dance. Discover your passion for culture during one of the special tours. Join in the ‘HipHop Special’ in the exhibition ‘Street Dreams. How Hiphop took over Fashion’. Plunge into the seductive and humorous world of Joanna Vasconcelos during the free walk-in tour of ‘I’m Your Mirror’. You can discover nature in the Museumpark with an urban biologist from the Natural History Museum. And the All you can Art artists will be in their outdoor mobile workshop every Sunday to bring out the artist in you.
Kids
The festival warms up every Sunday from 12:00 hrs with a Silent Disco. And children and families can spend a fun afternoon as Treasure Hunters in and around the Kunsthal building.
