On Tuesday 22 June, Kunsthal Rotterdam is organizing another edition of 'KunstKoppels' (ArtCouples). During KunstKoppels you will meet someone in the Kunsthal who is completely new and unknown to you. Someone from another generation, or with a different background or lifestyle. This edition is dedicated to the exhibition Youthquake. The desire to be forever young is a theme that provides plenty of discussion material. After an introduction, you can visit the exhibition with your new companion and jointly discover how being young is the norm in our visual culture. The main language during this event is Dutch.
Youth sells! The multimedia exhibition Youthquake shows the ageless desire for eternal youth. The mythical fountain of eternal youth forms the heart of the spectacular exhibition design by the multidisciplinary fashion house MAISON the FAUX. A whirlwind of historical mini-me’s, teenage models on runways, and elderly birds of paradise forms the audio-visual starting point of this exhibition that shows how fashion, marketing and the (social) media have become captivated by youthfulness. A sparkling exhibition about adult kids and youthful seniors!

Afterwards, you are welcome to stay. There will be tea and coffee in the Auditorium and all exhibitions in the Kunsthal are opened until 17.00 hrs.

Entrance for adults 16,50 euros including a cup of coffee or tea (Rotterdampas and Museumkaart are valid), for students the tickets for Kunstkoppels are free. Sign up now!
