AUTUMN BREAK
19 October, 2018 - 28 October, 2018
Everyone can get inspired in the Kunsthal during the autumn break! Roll up your sleeves in the Action <–> ReactionLAB and create your own mobile. Discover the exhibition with the Look&Do tour or join in one of the family tours. Extra opening of the Kunsthal during the autumn break on Monday 22 October from 10.00 hrs.
ACTION <-> REACTION LAB
Get down to work in the LAB and make your own Action <-> Reaction mobile inspired by the work of Alexander Calder. You can soon check the programme of the workshops on the website.
Action <-> Reaction Family Tours
For children the exhibition is literally an eye-opener thanks to the labyrinthine displays, the moving objects and the possibility of experiencing the works of art directly. During the autumn break the Kunsthal is organising special guided tours exclusively for families with children below the age of 13 years.
These guided tours will take place on Sunday 21 October, Wednesday 24 October and Sunday 28 October from 12.00 to 13.00 hrs. You can make a reservation at reserveren@kunsthal.nl
Look & Do Tour
Children between the ages of 5 and 10 years can explore the exhibition ‘Action <-> Reaction, 10 years of kinetic art’ for themselves with the Look & Do tour. For the age group 10–18 years there is the Viewer Guide. Both tours include various assignments and questions, encouraging children and adolescents to look at the works on display in a new light.
See you later, illustrator!
Every work of art tells a story. But which story? From now on you can decide that yourself in the Kunsthal. As long as you’re between 6 and 12 years old. In the afternoon of Friday 26 October an illustrator and a poet will work on a story, but it’s not yet clear how it will end. Your help is needed: Your help is needed: let your fantasy run riot – shout out and draw together!
Waterlicht by Daan Roosegaarde
Stimulate your senses in the dream landscape WATERLICHT. As a virtual flood made of LEDs, software and lenses, WATERLICHT inundates the Museumpark to show how high the water could reach without human intervention. At the same time WATERLICHT raises awareness around rising water levels caused by global warming. Experience the power and poetry of water!
