Kunsthal Rotterdam

During this festive evening at the Kunsthal, the exhibition Doron Langberg. Part of Your World will be opened and the winner of the NN Art Award 2024 will be announced. From this evening, the work of all four nominees will be shown at the Kunsthal for the very first time. We will also be celebrating 25 years of Art Rotterdam and all exhibitions at the Kunsthal will remain open.

Doron Langberg. Part of Your World

From Thursday 1 February you can immerse yourself in the world of the artist Doron Langberg (1985) at the Kunsthal, with large-format paintings that still feel intimate. The exhibition Part of Your World can be seen as an immediate and emotional portrait of the artist’s life as a queer man. From immersive landscapes to affectionate portraits: in colourful and expressive brushstrokes, Langberg captures his friends, lovers, family, and surroundings. This results in works that are just as moving as they are seductive. A selection of 16 paintings will be shown at the Kunsthal. Read more

NN Art Award 2024. Rotterdam Art Week

Art can be found everywhere in Rotterdam, especially during Art Rotterdam and Rotterdam Art Week, which both take place between 1 and 4 February. As in earlier editions, the programme will consist of events that each contribute to enhancing and energising the city’s artistic climate. In collaboration with Nationale-Nederlanden and Rotterdam Art Week, the Kunsthal will be presenting work by the four artists nominated for the NN Art Award 2024.
