The late Peter Lindbergh (74) passed away on the 3rd of September, 2019. We mourn the loss of one of the greatest photographers of all time. With gratitude we look back on the great collaboration for his last big retrospective 'Peter Lindbergh. A Different Vision on Fashion Photography', the international travelling exhibition, which was created on the initiative of the Kunsthal in close collaboration with Peter Lindbergh and curator Thierry-Maxime Loriot.
Considered a pioneer in photography, he introduced a form of new realism by redefining the standards of beauty with timeless images. He was a great talent and an extraordinary man. His warm and inspiring nature will always be remembered. The timeless work he leaves behind makes him immortal.
