New business director

The Kunsthal Rotterdam is pleased to announce that Herman van Karnebeek has been appointed as business director from 1 December 2016. He and general director Emily Ansenk will form the management.
Herman van Karnebeek has the responsibility for the further commercial extension of the cultural entrepreneurship of the Kunsthal, which has made the institution exemplary in its sector for years.
Van Karnebeek has worked as senior commercial manager for Eventim Nederland and as sales and marketing manager for See Tickets Nederland. He has also been senior manager responsible for sponsoring and partnerships for Joop van den Ende Theatre Productions (Stage Entertainment Nederland). He began his career as a legal advisor for Nauta Dutilh.
Emily Ansenk is delighted with the opportunities that the new partnership offers: ‘Herman van Karnebeek’s knowledge and experience will make a positive contribution in the commercial, financial and legal fields to the ambitions of the Kunsthal’.
